This is a place for information that is unavailable through the unitary, corporate, and owned by 2 people U.S. media
One of the purposes of this blog is to share with you the news I obtain by spending hours on the internet reading information, based on credible sources, that is unavailable to the average U.S. citizen as the average U.S. citizen depends on television news, filtered by the private, corporately owned, monopoly of U.S. media. By the way, did you know that the FCC is rushing to push through a rule that will nail the coffin on any diversity, local coverage, etc. by the U.S media? Yes, the FCC chairman hopes to pass a rule that will allow the one, two, or three media giants (Rupert Murdoch being one) to own all the newspapers AND radio stations AND tv stations. To efficiently learn about media consolidation right now go to Bill Moyers Journal. Try to also download via podcast or otherwise, the May 2007 Bill Moyers Journal coverage of media consolidation. Remember, democracy depends on a truly informed citizenry!!!
